GoldenTyre rides in support of a Cure for Br
east Cancer at the Kelowna motocross track on May 15th 2010.
The Kelowna Dirt Bike Club held the MX Ride for the Cure in support of breast cancer and raised more than $19,000 in pledges.
The event took place in a relay style as each team had 1 rider on the track at a time and there were 20 teams. Riders took the time to get pledges from people in the community, who could donate either per lap or a set amount.
Around 170 riders took place in this event and the Kelowna MX club is thinking of future charity events in upcoming years if the Regional District allows the track to remain open next year.
